Privacy Policy

The short version

  • This site is for businesses buying liquidation truckloads for resale, and for their staff.
  • Site analytics, Google Analytics and Google Ads are on by default, and we note which ad brought you here. Meta runs only with your OK. We honor Global Privacy Control.
  • We don't sell your information for money.

1. Who we are

Worldly Treasures Liquidators, Inc. ("WTL", "we", "us") is a national truckload wholesaler in Dallas, Texas, selling full truckloads to businesses that buy for resale. This policy covers wtliquidators.com, our quote and price pages, our website chat, our Facebook and Instagram lead forms, and the calls, texts and emails we exchange with you.

2. What we collect

What you give us:

  • Quote requests: name, mobile number, email, delivery ZIP, desired ship date, the load you asked about and, if you answer, your budget and how you sell. We also record your consent to calls and texts and the wording you agreed to.
  • Facebook and Instagram lead forms: what you submit, which the platform sends to us.
  • Load alerts: first name, mobile number and the kind of load you want.
  • Conversations: what you send us in the website chat, by text, WhatsApp, email or phone, including photos.
  • Purchases: invoices, payment confirmations, delivery details, and tax documents such as a seller's permit or resale certificate. We take payment by wire or ACH.

What we collect automatically:

  • Browser and device type, pages viewed, the site that sent you, campaign tags and the ad click ID in the link, and the date and time.
  • Your IP address, which shows your approximate location. Security logs keep it for a short time. With a quote request we store it only as a one-way code, except for the ad matching described in section 4.
  • Cookies and browser storage that keep the site working and remember your privacy choice.
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement, unless you choose "Essential only" or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. See section 4.

Only with your OK:

  • Data from Meta's advertising tools. See section 4.

We don't ask for sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or health information. Please don't send it.

3. How we use it

  • To price and sell loads: quote freight to your ZIP, send your delivered price, have a rep contact you, confirm availability and ship date, invoice, and arrange delivery.
  • To talk with you: calls, texts and emails about your request, your orders and loads like the ones you asked about (section 5).
  • To measure and improve: see how the site is used and learn which ads lead to quote requests and sales (section 4).
  • To stay safe and legal: prevent fraud and abuse, keep business and tax records, and meet legal obligations.

4. Cookies, analytics and ad measurement

Site analytics is on by default. We use PostHog to see how the site is used and where buyers get stuck, so we can fix it. We don't record your screen, and we don't sell this data. You can turn analytics off anytime: choose "Essential only" in Privacy choices (link at the bottom of every page), or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser.

Google measurement is on by default. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to see how buyers find us and which ads lead to quote requests. When a quote request goes through, your browser tells Google Analytics and Google Ads, with our quote number but never your name, phone, email or ZIP. Google may set cookies and collect information about your visit under its own privacy policy. To turn Google measurement off, choose "Essential only" in Privacy choices or turn on Global Privacy Control.

Google may also use your visit to show you our ads on other websites and apps. Google and other ad companies use cookies and device identifiers to show ads based on your past visits to our site. To stop ads based on your visits, choose "Essential only" in Privacy choices, turn on Global Privacy Control, or turn off personalized ads in Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). You can also use the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out (optout.networkadvertising.org).

Meta (Facebook and Instagram) runs only with your OK: it turns on only if you choose "Accept all" or turn on advertising attribution in Privacy choices, and never with a GPC signal. Until you choose, we keep the ad click ID from the link that brought you here, on your device and with any quote you send, so we know which ad brought you. "Essential only" or a GPC signal removes it from your device and keeps it off any quote you send after that.

Essential cookies keep the site working and remember your choice. They are always on.

If you chose "Accept all" and request a quote, our server may tell Google and Meta that a quote request happened, and later that a sale happened, so we can see which ads work. To match it to the right ad, we send the ad click ID from your visit. For Meta, we also send your email and phone in hashed form (scrambled into a code) and your IP address and browser type. We delete the IP address and browser type from our records once they are sent, and within 7 days at most. If you chose "Essential only" or your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we send none of this.

Do Not Track: browsers' Do Not Track setting has no common standard, so we don't act on it. We honor Global Privacy Control instead.

5. Texts, calls and automated assistants

  • We text and call you about your quote, your orders and loads like the ones you asked about, and we send load alerts only if you sign up. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any text to stop, or tell us any other reasonable way. Reply HELP for help.
  • Calls may be recorded for quality and training. We tell you at the start of a recorded call.
  • Our website chat, some text replies and our main phone line may be answered by automated assistants. Ask for a person anytime.
  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except the providers that deliver our texts.

6. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it only:

  • With companies that work for us: our CRM and messaging platform (contacts, texts, emails, calls and automated assistants); our website host; email, analytics and AI providers; freight-rate providers and carriers (your delivery ZIP and ship date to price freight and, for a booked load, the delivery address and contact); banks; and our accountants and lawyers. They may use it only to work for us.
  • With Google and Meta, for the ad measurement and advertising in section 4. Some state laws call this "sharing" or "targeted advertising". You can opt out as described in section 4.
  • For legal reasons: to follow the law or protect our rights, our buyers and others.
  • If our business is sold or merged, under this policy.
  • When you ask us to, for example with a carrier you choose.

7. How long we keep it

  • Quote requests and customer records: while we need them for business, legal and tax purposes, or until you ask us to delete them (except records the law requires us to keep).
  • Ad matching data sent to Meta (IP address and browser type): deleted once sent, within 7 days at most.
  • Website chat: up to 30 days.
  • Contact details from a request that didn't go through: kept only long enough for a person to reach you, then deleted.
  • Cookie choice: 30 days in your browser; we keep a record of the choice as proof of consent.
  • Call recordings: kept for training and records while we need them.

8. Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or get a copy. Reply STOP to stop texts. Use the unsubscribe link to stop marketing emails. Choose "Essential only" or turn on Global Privacy Control to keep advertising tools off. Email support@worldlytreasuresliquidators.com or call 214-256-1854. We confirm it's you before we act, and we won't treat you differently for asking.

9. Children

This site is for adults buying for business. If you think someone under 18 has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit staff access and watch for misuse. No system is perfect. If a breach affects your information, we'll notify you as the law requires.

11. US only

This site is for businesses in the United States.

12. Changes

If we make a material change, we'll post a notice on our site and update the date at the top.
