What the conditions mean

  • New is overstock and shelf pulls in original packaging, merchandise that just didn't sell in its window.
  • Mixed is exactly what it sounds like, a combination in the same load.

Every load lists its condition. Returns loads have the widest spread, and new or shelf pull loads are more predictable.

What to expect from loads like these

The loads shown include overstock and returns as described on each load. Contents and condition are exactly as recorded. Actual contents can vary.

The nature of Grocery West Coast inventory

Grocery West Coast truckloads contain a mix of customer returns, overstock, and shelf pulls. What is listed is what we know at the time. Freight is quoted separately for your location and charged on top.

[ 02 ] Field notes

We name the date band on every grocery load before you buy, never at the dock.

Reading Grocery Date Bands

Grocery runs on a calendar. Shelf-stable grocery truckloads can carry in-date, close-dated, and expired product in the same load, and that split drives the buy. So we name it per load, straight from the record. Most of these loads run a strong majority in date, but the exact band lives on the tile, not in a slogan, because it shifts load to load. A buyer who knows the band before quoting can plan a floor around it; finding it out at delivery is how deals go wrong.

The product itself is straightforward. Discount grocery truckloads are shelf-stable major-brand food and drink straight from a major grocery chain, built around the pantry staples stores actually move rather than a candy-and-chips skew. That makes it a clean fit for a floor that turns everyday food. Counts run by the box and the pallet, and those numbers belong on the tile where they stay current, never frozen into copy that goes stale the day after a load sells. We name what is in the load and we name how it is counted, in the same place, every time.

A grocery load turns on two things. First, the date discipline. The winning workflow is the one the drugstore class taught us: sort by date on arrival, price each band to its window, and move the close-dated product first at the sharpest number while the in-date stock earns full ask behind it. Second, condition is retailer-sourced and it varies, so we pass along grades and photos as we get them and describe the condition the way the load record shows it, which in this class means naming close-dated and expired product wherever it belongs rather than rounding up.

Grocery is a turn business, and the floors built for it do best: discount grocery stores, discount and bargain stores, and grocery resellers who price a band and clear it. Resale rules for food vary by state, and your assigned rep points you to what your state requires before money moves. That is the deal across the board: the date band stated, the count on the tile, the freight quoted on top. Set a grocery alert and the next matching truckload reaches you the moment it goes live, date band named, manifest linked where one exists.

Grocery Truckload Buyer FAQs

Shelf-stable major-brand food and drink sold by the truckload, straight from a major grocery chain, with the date-band reality named up front. In-date, close-dated, and expired product can travel together, and the load record states where each load sits. We sell full truckloads only, not individual pallets.
They can, and we name it before you buy rather than at the dock. Loads commonly run a strong majority in date, but the exact split is read per load and printed on the tile, never promised as a fixed number. The sort-by-date workflow is the class's core discipline, and the buyers who respect it keep buying.
Grocery commonly runs unmanifested, and we label it per load so you know before you quote. Manifests describe expected contents and are provided for reference. Actual contents can vary, so we note condition clearly and flag what we cannot control. The date band on the tile is the number that drives the buy.
By the box and the pallet, and the counts live on the tile straight from the load record, where they stay current. Box and pallet counts vary by load, so we name them per load rather than quoting one figure that would go stale the moment the load sells.
Discount grocery stores and discount stores first, with bargain stores and grocery resellers of every shape working the major-brand streams. Speed is the shared trait. This class rewards floors that turn, because the date band sets the clock.
Rules vary by state. Your assigned rep confirms what your state requires when you ask for your delivered price, and that conversation happens before money moves, not after. Freight is charged on top and quoted upfront for your ZIP, with no hidden fees and no surprises at delivery.
